The pentagram represents the spirit, which is the point facing towards the sky, and the other 4 points represent the elements of earth, air, fire and water.

The triquetra is a tri-corned shape made of three overlapping or interconnected arcs that resemble a three corned knot and has multiple meanings.

It has also be known as the triple moon as it represents the threefold nature of the goddess: maiden, mother and crone.

It also symbolizes the three faces of the goddess; balance of the spirit, mind and body.

The history of the triquetra dates back to the early christians and they believed it symbolized the trinity; the idea of three persons in one; god the father, god the son and god the holy spirit.

The triple moon goddess represents the different lunar cycles with the moon in three phases - waxing, full and waning.

The waning moon stands for the maiden and symbolizes purity, youth, new beginnings, rejuvenation, excitement, enchantment and expansion.
