Prophecy Stone is an unusual gemstone that is a pseudomorph of Limonite, Hematite after Marcasite or Pyrite, meaning that it originally formed as a solid crystal nodule of marcasite, but was altered into a limonite material.

 This rare mineral, prophecy stone, is from Egypt's Libyan Desert and is found in the same area as Libyan Desert Glass! .
